Here is Why You are Not Sleeping well at Night.
Many people go sleepless nights not because they have chosen it but the reason remains uncontrollable.This has caused negative impact on the lives of these individuals who suffer from 'INSOMNIA,' which is a Latin word; meaning lack of sleep.it will be unfair if we don't address the cause and it will remain endless dream to those suffering if they don't get a solution.
CAUSE OF LACK OF SLEEP/REDUCED SLEEP.
1.Anxiety
This involves the state of feeling anxious and helpless;it happens when a person is afraid of something or worried.Relationship problems add to this challenges,when a person is depressed of relationship issues;for instance family,financial stress and social problems.This deprive the person off his/her sleep.
2.Medications
Some medicinal substance cause reduced sleep since they contain substances which affect the brain thus most pharmaceutical drugs are part of this group.For example we have cold and flu gone medication and some painkillers that contain caffeine.Also in the list is the presence of some high blood pressure medications.
3.Stress
This can be caused by workload at work places,family matters,schools/institutions of learning and health related conditions.Getting tired or working too long with less appreciation will cause body and mental fatigue and accumulated level of stress will reduce the level of sleep of the individual.
4.Alcohol and caffeine
These are stimulants that are present in coffee,soda and other drinks that are also sedative,causing sleepless.This substance will deprive of sleep.Avoid such substance like alcohol, and caffeine especially sleeping time.
5.Health problems
These can be caused by health disease like respiratory diseases and heart disease,chronic pain.One major challenges is headache which reduces sleep.When a person is having headache it becomes difficult for the person to sleep.
6.Change in persons schedule
This can be attributed when a person changes his/her daily schedule like travelling long distances which include travelling day and night.This change in schedule will affect the body's circadian rhythm that regulates your sleep and wake cycle.
7.Getting old
When a person ages,there will be diverse hormonal changes and the old person becomes susceptible to diseases that reduces the sleep.The aged person will likely to consume medical treatment which some of the medicines containing caffeine,reducing sleep.
HOW TO RECOVER FROM SLEEPLESS
It is imperative for the individual suffering from insomnia to practice the following in order to recover the expected sleep.
1.Think slowly and quietly to avoid over working your brain.
2.Physical exercise is very essential solution to this challenge and this will enhance the body to engage in other activity rather than thinking deeply.
3.Eat right food to protect the body from unnecessary fatigue.
4.Avoid alcohol and caffeine that will reduce your sleep
